The Diuretic Tea increases the amount of urine eliminated by the kidneys in cases of renal, cardiac, and hepatic crises (when water retention occurs in the body). It helps the kidneys eliminate waste substances resulting from metabolism, thus supporting renal detoxification function. It is a basic treatment for urinary tract infections as it promotes the elimination of bacteria through urine and prevents their adherence to the urinary tract mucosa. Along with water, the body also eliminates minerals. However, there are diuretic herbs that compensate for this loss as they simultaneously have a remineralizing action.
